Price reduction by a given percent is a standard discount. To configure it, press Create new button in the Loyalty tab and choose Price reduction by % from the list.
Enter a promo name and description which a cashier will see on a tablet.
Choose a promo activation method on a tablet:
1). Manual discount – assigned by a cashier manually
2). Automatic discount – applies automatically when configured conditions are met.
3). Promo code – applies when a cashier enters the required promo code.
In Application conditions set the Period when a discount is effective. One can limit a promo validity by dates, days of the week and time of the day.
In the Locations tab choose the ones in which a promo will be used.
In the Roles tab one can limit application rights. For example, a cashier can make discounts, but a trainee cashier is not allowed to do it.
Settings in Clients tab add customer base restrictions to the application conditions:
1). Without limitations – any customer can use a promo.
2). Any client is indicated in the sale – a cashier must identify a buyer using a telephone number or a bonus card.
3). A client of a specific category is shown in the sale – a buyer must be authorized and belong to the indicated category.
Also it is possible to rank promos by the Ticket amount – a discount cannot be made unless a definite threshold is reached.
Discount percent can be set in Promo properties. In this tab the products are defined for which price reduction applies:
1). on all products in the ticket without limitation
2). on goods of specified categories
3). on specific items.
After making all the necessary settings press Save button and check the promo function on a tablet.
